PrimeWest Mortgage Investment Corporation is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and is the only mortgage investment corporation in the province funded by a public offering. Launched in October 2005, the company has raised over $14 million in equity and expects to have over $20million in equity by the end of 2010.

Al W. Zack, B.Comm, AMP, Saskatoon President and CEO
Al Zack brings to PrimeWest a proven performance record obtained through 10 years of commercial banking experience, managing over $200 million in mortgages. He holds a B.Comm (Finance) and has completed the CSC (Canadian Securities Course) and PFP (Professional Financial Planning) courses. Mr. Zack’s formal leadership training, extensive industry knowledge and focused determination provides confidence to investors. He has been involved on a number of boards and committees including Junior Achievement, the City of Saskatoon Cultural Diversity and Race Relations Committee and he is currently the Chair and President of the Saskatoon Chapter of Bicycles for Humanity.
David Oliver, Senior Loans Officer
Mr. Oliver has been with PrimeWest since 2008 and brings over 25 years of banking experience through a full career with the Royal Bank. He has been involved in many aspects of banking including agricultural and commercial lending, credit risk management and branch management. Dave is primarily responsible for loan administration by working directly with the Account Manager and President on areas such as compliance, risk management and loan impairment.
Jeremy Zakresky, B.Eng, AMP, Account Manager
Jeremy brings an entrepreneurial drive and strong analytical skills to the PrimeWest team. He holds a B. Eng. (Mechanical Engineering) and is experienced in contract administration and management of major construction projects. He has been a key driver in the success of various small business start-ups and fundraising events. Jeremy is currently a Director of Saskatchewan Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs (SYPE), a member of the Loan Review Committee for the W. Brett Wilson Centre for Entrepreneurial Excellence, and a registered member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS).
Our Board of Directors
Tom Archibald, Saskatoon Chairman
Mr. Archibald is a long time resident of Saskatoon and a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, College of Commerce (Economics). He has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry at the CEO and VP levels. Currently he is the President of Eden Health Solutions, a privately held consulting company. Other achievements include past President of SaskSport/ Saskatchewan Lotteries and past CEO of Parkridge Centre, an organization named as “100 Best Companies to Work for in Canada” by the Financial Post.
Francis Bast, Regina Director
Francis Bast has been a licensed real estate agent in Saskatchewan since 1981. He is currently a director for Century West Development Corporation, a land development company.
Mike Hough, Saskatoon Director
Mike Hough has lived in Saskatoon since 1991. He is the Business Manager of one of Saskatchewan's largest and most active churches. He is also the Administrator for Faith College Leadership Training Centre where he teaches and assists students in the areas of personal and leadership development. He has also had extensive leadership training and significant experience working in team environments.
Doug Frondall, CA, CMA, CMC, CVAPartner, Virtus Group, Saskatoon
Mr. Frondall is a Chartered Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Certified Management Consultant and Certified Valuation Analyst who has been in public practice since 1986 and a partner since 1993. His primary client focus is privately-held businesses, with a concentration in mergers and acquisitions, litigation support, business valuations and general business advisory services, including strategic and succession planning.
Doug is the Managing Partner of the firm and is very involved with the PKF North American Network (PKF NAN) as a current member of the Board of Directors and the firm's.
Irene A. Seiferling, Saskatoon
Irene A. Seiferling is the principal of Board Dynamics, a corporate governance consulting firm. She holds a B.A. Economics, (Distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan, and is formally trained in corporate governance in Canada and the U.S. through organizations including the Institute of Corporate Directors and Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, and the National Association of Corporate Directors. Irene Seiferling is a former national president of the Consumersí Association of Canada and has been a member of several boards of directors, including the Standards Council of Canada and the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada.
Danny Anderson, B.A.(Economics), LL.B., Saskatoon
Danny Anderson is a Partner of MacPherson Leslie & Tyerman LLP, one of Western Canada's leading business law firms, His practice is focused on providing specialized business and legal advice to corporations, joint ventures, partnerships and other business organizations in the area of securities and commercial law. Danny also acts as counsel to leading uranium mining and exploration corporations and one of the world's largest potash mining corporations. He is currently a Director for the Royal University Hospital Foundation.
